True, and I have not driven either of them (yet, I would like to drive the Lambo) so I can't speak from experience here, but the thing the P car has going for it is the dual nature. It's a docile pussy cat when driven around town at under 6/10's. When asked it also has the ability to go incredibly fast while remaining composed. Another nice feature is that the car blends in. No stares, no gawks or questions at the gas pump. Just another car.

Is it worth 130-150 grand? That's somthing people need to answer for themselves. I don't think so.

Depends on who you believe and how you option the car out. Porsche has quoted anywhere from 3395 to 3505.

If someone is considering an X50 996TT, then they obviously have plenty of money to blow on a car and probably a bunch of other stuff.

The Z06 has and will continue to be the value leader in the super car class of cars, but there is no doubt that Porsche makes some fine machines in the 996TT, GT2, and GT3. The Boxster and regular 996 don't do much for me at all.

Funny quote, but it only exemplifies your bias. If I had more money than I knew what to do with, I would have a few P cars, but I would also have a few heavily modified Corvettes.

If you don't have more money than the G man, then there is a very good chance that one of the primary considerations of the P car purchase is for the prestige and exclusive factors. Luckily, I don't need the prestige of a P car to feel good about myself.
