Ok, but let's not pretend that German drivers are so good that they never have accidents, especially on the stretches with no speed limits.

I'm not arguing for a speed limit on the autobahns, but I think it's not true that driving 200 mph is safe just because the drivers are "better."

Maybe in mainland Europe but definitely not in the UK. Lane discipline in the UK is extremely poor.

Doesn't matter where it is, driving THAT fast with OTHER PEOPLE on the road is extremely reckless.

It's not reckless if the other people are aware of the fact that there is no speed limit. Not like he's doing something surprising.

If it is reckless it'd be against the law. Fact of the matter is, less fatalities happen on the autobahn than on interstates in america.
