The vette sounds great, but that's gotta be some of the crappiest driving I've ever seen. He basically coasts through every corner, and I didnt' see him downshift once.

The people discussing it on the vette boards seem to thnk he was going in to hot and losing a lot of speed by not being able to exit fast at all. He claimed his best time was 1:33.3 which if slightly slower then the 1:32.7 the automobile guys ran.

The laps looked pretty good guys. I know the track, the line was OK. Maybe a little further to the right during braking for 9 and 8 was a little wrong, but not bad.

He wasn't really leaning on it hard at all from what I could tell. I really don't like Gingerman because it's too short. There's a chance he could have gone to 2nd on nearly all the corners there. Why go up and down gears and drive your $70k car right to the limit though? He's just out enjoying himself...

that right there is the most important fact of this video. He brought it out to the track and had a good time which is hard for many owners to do.
