I have one (SiR up here in Canada), it's a great daily driver. Lots of room, comfortable seats, shifter is one of the best I've used and I love the placement. It's cheap and I don't care where I park it....perfect for a daily driver .

Well - looks like I will be picking up an 03 Si on Friday. I got the blue one. 16500 was the price before tax and reg. including destination. Thanks for the feedback!

'02 Si with 28k miles.
Nice car but coming from a GS-R I still hate the 6800 and the lame non-vtec vtec. But I then I was too cheap to spend real money for a RSX-S or WRX, Paid $16k+ttl for mine.
Biggest beef I have with the car, other then the worthless oem tires, is the mpg when crusing north of 80. I've seen 23 mpg driving 85 mph, on I35 between Topeka & OKC, when bucking the strong wind, no a/c. If I can crack the 28mpg barrier on the interstate I'm a happy camper. Then again around town mileage is between 28-30.

I've had a 02 Si for a couple over a year, and it's a great daily driver. It's very very responsive, not too soft, I mean it's a lot better handling then the accord. The tires may not be great for racing, but they sure do the job in the rain and snow - excellent. I've been able to slice thru traffic at some really awesome speeds - great stuff.
One word of caution. These engines burn oil! So just be careful and check it every once in a while.

thereisnospoon,
The Civic SI is a great daily driver, plus I have the added benefit of taking my 3yr old son along for the ride.
I find myself hitting the rev limiter at 7000rpm occasionally. The 9000 redline in the S has created a bad habit.
I purchased mine for $16,500.00 this year, great vehicle for the price.
