Default Civic in US and India

I have been using a CIVIC in US for the past few months. Purchased it new. I like to buy a Civic in India. It is similar in exteriors, but I don't know whether it is the same in all other aspects. I have heard that the quality of products launched in India is not up to the expectations. What are the differences for Civic in US and Indian model?

Seems like the same car to me. But I think it is manufactured in India.

Real nice. And people wonder why half the world hates us.

I'd say you would get your best information by contacting Honda of India.

I think the India Civic looks better than the USDM ones.

I have a cousin who works at MB in India. He, himself is trying to get a C -class from Germany instead of one built in India. That should tell you something.

ritesh, granted it's now 2007, but still.....

"Within the group, DaimlerChrysler India has bagged the Quality Award for the 'Best Mercedes-Benz Production Plant' outside Germany for three consecutive years from 1998-2000, which is clear evidence to our customers of our technological excellence in India."

"March 2004, Mercedes-Benz India bags the Quality Award for the fourth time for 'Best Mercedes-Benz Production Plant' outside Germany and within the Group."

all from the MB India website.
