Default Civic Type S

I for one think this thing looks great!

Here it is, the eagerly awaited Honda Civic Type-R Concept that will be presented next week in Geneva.

This Concept should be very similar to the production 3-door version. In the Type-R and in this yellow livery it resembles a bad-ass car out the Mugen shop more than a "factory" Honda.

I guess this version will put to rest once and for all Top Gear's saying that only old people buy Hondas in Europa, nowadays.

The concept has the 200 ps 2.0 liters i-VTEC engine of the previous Type-R. We still don't know it the production Type-R will have the same engine.

Could they turn this into the new CRX for the USA?

As a CRX-Si owner, I can see how that might be an option. I guess what I'm trying to say is it is a bit of a stretch from Generation 1 and 2 of the CRX, but it is possible I guess.

I agree but it's the closest thing I've seen yet. They say it's coming back so who knows? Not trying to start a rumor at all but the CRX was a smaller Civic and this looks to be a slightly smaller Civic.

I remembered we had a few thread on this civic bodystyle. This bodystyle is only for Europe.

It does kind of look like an egg. They'd better not call that a CRX at any point; they already kind of ruined the CRX with that thing they called a Del Sol here in the US.
