Just because they're 5-lug wheels, doesn't mean they'll fit. Plus the S2000's wheels are staggered in size. How will that work on a Civic?
alot of people run different fronts and rears with same tire sizes. The rears are stretched then but many VW's run them and alot of them are fwd too. I'm not sure on the offsets or bolt pattern but go for it.

Matt is correct.

Just get your brothers civic and try of the offset will work.

center bore is the othe rconcern.

The fact they are staggered is not a problem

I don't think the offsets will work with Civics. The rear wheels will not fit. Also- anyone who staggers front drive with wider stuff in back is not too keen. If you had to stagger it, put the wider stuff in fron. But, that would look stupid, I know. Bottom line- unless you have four fronts; don't do it.

actually if it fits. it would be nice to have the wider wheels upfront to reduce the understeery nature of a front wheel drive car

Yes but in the front you have to worry about clearance in the well when turning. If the wider fronts rub at full lock in either direction, you're either going to have to mod the car, or put the wide ones in back where turning isn't an issue.

Matt is right about the "stretch and poked" VWs. There are a lot of guys that run tires smaller than the wheel (width-wise). Not sure if this is unsafe or not, but having a narrower tire than wheel does not necessarily mean you can't use the tire.

The rear s2000 rims will NOT fit. I tried it on an RSX.
