Nope, TrailBlazer. They actually chopped the 4-door's platform in designing the SSR
You're probably right... Ijust didn't recognize the Trailblazer name. I think most people recognize it as the Saab 9-7

The problem with the SSR was that it tried to be a lot of things at once.
For $45-50k, you can probably get a separate truck + Mustang convertible and get more performance out of those two. Adding a meatier engine isn't going to fix that problem.

i thought the biggest gripes about them were that they literally drove like a bucket of bolts.

the frame twisting and the like that plagued the old car will only be worse with a ls2.

Well, you tell their dealer to send one my way if they're willing to give me an incredible deal. My first offer: $20K cash. Second offer probably will be slightly higher than that, but not too much more.

I'm serious too.

I'd hit it for $20K also.

I'm serious too. Where's that guy? I may even give them $25K cash for one, but I don't think I'd go for $30K. Where's that guy? Eh, who am I kidding?! They wouldn't go for that low. But he did say they tried everything, including auctions, to try to get rid of them vehicles.
