Chevy Caprice SS - hit with the pretty stick
I'm not sure when the Caprice got better looking, but the latest photos look amazing.
Added bonus - 415 hp.
Long live the G8.

Not bad looking at all.

I don't see a Chevy Caprice in this thread but I do see the new SS sedan.
And overall I'm disappointed:
-looks worse than the G8
-same horsepower as the G8 GXP but no manual transmission
-a new G8 GT was under $30k. Good luck getting this for less than mid 40s.

This car needs 3 things:
1) the new LT1 from the corvette
2) Manual Transmission.
3) Better styling (more aggressive like the Pontiac)

It's goodlooking because it's an Australian design. They do muscle cars really well down there (if occasionally a bit over-the-top). The Pontiac GTO was the same thing and the interior and exterior were light-years better than the standard GM interiors (for cars), in my opinion. The GTO had a nicer interior than the Corvette, in my eyes.

Those press shots looked great. But when they showed more realistic shots, I was a bit less impressed:
Still not bad at all, and it could just be the color, but it's a bit underwhelming.
Much love for the GTO and G8. As people mentioned above, this package just has a few shortcomings that, at first glance, make us less excited than we were about the G8. Without manual it will be hard to for us to get over that, but I definitely hope this SS in reality is just as much fun.
If not, then I'll be even more inclined to see the new Buicks (rumor alert):

Ugh. I loved the G8 it was one of those few 4 door cars I would have actually liked to own but the pic above makes this look like your standard blah chevy. The G8 looked great. Very aggressive to back up the power. That looks like a slightly modded Malibu.
