But it does weigh 3,300lbs, which honestly a surprise, it looks so much heavier.

Engine wise, I don't really think it's fair to compare turbos to NA, LS motors respond very well to bolt ons. But on the other hand, turbos you can reflash is to push a little more boost, unless they're K03s....

I've got a deal breaker... 10 years from now. What's gonna cost you your left nut to fix?

Not sure if you have driven a car with a 6.2 litre V8, its the laziest type of speed around. Especially if its an automatic transmission. Its lighter and makes torque earlier than the M4, should be easy to drive fast.

Agree. You can dive bomb the corners and use the torque to pull you out with amazing speed. Combine that with auto rev-matching and its very easy to drive fairly quickly. The BMW probably ins't bad either (compared to the no torque 4.0l) but the Corvette is very balanced and pulls hard from any RPM.

I'm not 55 years old yet so I would choose the M4.

I helped someone move not long ago and four cars were used... a Corvette was the only one to swallow a large bicycle and probably carried the most stuff.
we are comparing carrying capacity of C7 vs M4 now? They're sports cars, not practical cars.
the C7 is $15-20K less than M4. Use that money get an used SUV - problem solved.

The way I spec out a C7 with all the options and CF, Z51 stuff, I am in the 70's so cost is about the same with similar features.

apple - apple. Base M4 will be same price as loaded C7.
spec the same in a M4 and see what the price is. Haven't bother to check lately but when BMW was on my radar a while back, M3 did not come leather standard for $50K car. I think an Accord has leather once it goes above $25K.

That includes $10k carbon ceramics. The m3/m4 actually comes with a lot more standard than most Bmws. Mine priced out is about $72-75 I think or less. I'd go m3 tho

8 years from today with 80 to 100k on the clock one of these cars will be a money pit.
