Yep, some fishing line or dental floss followed by a little goo gone and you'll be good!

Just lokoed closer, looks like previous owner took the back ones off, the bikes came with one on the rear fender itself, but still be careful on the chrome sissy bar. And yes I think the very low bar and pad would look better, you should be able to keep the side plates though

A different trim ring on that headlight is a fairly cheap thing that will help give it a more custom look too.

Pull those reflectors off!
done!!

man those ones on the front forks were nasty-
about 2 hours to get those off and the ones off of the sissy bars and one off of the license plate, and to get off all of the tape.

does look a lot better already-

edit-
have now also replaced the orange turn signals with smoked gray and ordered two more smoked headlights and a turn signal relocation kit for the front.
also have an l.e.d. rear chrome housed tail light to install
got a "skull gas cap", but it doesnt fit- so that one is going back.

next idea??

Ill try to find a link to a nice laydown plate bracket, that link you posted was to highway bar set from American Classis motors, (double check all part numbers and fitment when ordering from them, they get very confrentational and are no help if anything isnt right). Looks good, its never ending though.
