Did you get extended cab? I was talking to my bro-in-law about the deal you got and he was wondering (might pick one up himself, if he could get a similar price!).

i just picked it up.... 2003 Silverado 1500 - RED, cd, cruise, rollup windows (boo), tilt, dual zone climate control, 5.3L, ext cab, 4x4, 4 wheel abs, 4 wheel discs, and I think it was something like $21,800 + tax and tags.... something right about $23,250 out the door....... pretty freaking cool!!!!!!

Now I need to get a bedliner and a tow hitch (and wiring, etc...)...

Did you get the 0% financing they are offering that you get along with the $1500 bonus cash. You can take that or the $3000 in lieu of the 0% plus the $1500. Guessing you took the $3k which is probably the way to go as the numbers work out in favor that way.

i don't keep cars long enough to care about the zero % financing... i got 4.74% for 60 months from a local bank anyway.

this truck is pretty damned big compared to what I am used to driving... will need a lift kit though.

Yeah, you'll have to drive it a bit differently than your Evo and Cobra. Well, maybe not your 3800lb Cobra sled, but definitely the Evo.

I can spin the tires pretty easily in the truck.... that is kind of like the "cobra sled".

I'll sell you a 454, with a 1/4in stroke and bored 0.030 over to 496, for a cool $5k.

I was thinking about getting an F-150 for about low 20's. How does that compare with the Siverado? And what's the deal with all the different cab configurations? Can someone educate me on that?

I have no idea..... my truck has close to 300hp, and 325lb ft of torque... i think it can tow about 7500lbs.... besides that it is a basic truck.... 245/75/16 tires with stupid looking steel wheels... cloth interior...but it has ext cab, cruise, cd player....and it was cheap cheap cheap...
