Maybe...from the looks of the videos I downloaded on his site, seems like his car will blow up upon a few races. Highly unstable thing .

If I was that guy I'd get a new roll bar made that would allow me to fit in the car. He must not want to keep it TOO bad.

Steven Kamis, the owner of "Project Insane Asylum" didn't get the 100K that he was asking, and has now decided to keep the car..

For those who think the engine will "blow up" those short videos you downloaded were the 1st time it ever started. Now in good tune, it idles just fine, and as soon as the cooling issues get resolved, it will idle and run fine all day long(or till the 50 gallon fuel tank runs out of fuel)

The only problems I see, is how long will the transmission hold up to that much torque? It's a Richmond 6 speed, but still it's only rated for about 500-600 ft lbs torque... the engine in Insane Asylum is a 522 World Products Big Block with twin whipple chargers feeding it and guessing here, producing 1500+ ft lbs to torque..

I'd really like to see that beast get tracked.
