So we all know that over time, the standard vehicle consumes more gasoline than that of the Hybrid vehile, correct?
We also know that when using a Honda VTEC Engine in LOW REV, we would consume the least amount of gas possible.
We ALSO know that while the previous Hybrid cars had the engine actually built into the car, the newer ones allow you to swap the engines.
SO,..
Hypothetically speaking, if we were to take a Honda VTEC Engine and a Hybrid Car, and swap the engines out so that the VTEC Engine is now in the Hybrid car, would we save gasoline if we only stayed in LOW REV?
Take note that Low REV = going normal acceleration of the car/not throttling.
High REV = Racing, Launching, etc.
Just a thought.

I wonder if given enough support from the manufacturers ;would a hybrid racing series draw an audience ?
Since the ALMS has it's "green challenge";would this be a viable idea ?
