You could be surprised how solid the S2000 is in a crash situation.
A few years ago, I survived a terrible crash where the S jumped over a fence at 160 km/h and flipped 4-5 times. Beside some minor cuts and a dislocated shoulder, I was perfectly fine thanks to the S and..God!

With that mentality, then just buy a hummer or a tank. Besides, the S2000 has one of the safest cages tested, and received a 5-star crash rating.

Actually, this story was posted where I work (Honda R&D in Ohio) and where the TL was developed. After seeing these pictures I decided that after I get married in June the wife will get either an Accord or a TSX. Was previously considering a 02-04 BMW 325i sport 5-speed.

A person who I work with was hit head on in his CR-V by an idiot talking on his cell phone. The other guy crossed over into his lane. Both cars were doing roughly 50-60mph. The other car was a late 90's Monte Carlo. My friend only suffered a broken arm. The other guy was in the hospital for quite some time and in critical condition.

Yet another person who was driving an Accord recently was hit by a school bus and it was a head on offset crash I think similar to the TL. He suffered only a broken arm and ankle so I hear.

In my opinion, any Honda or Acura is one of the safest cars you can buy...
Bravo to Honda for their "Safety for Everyone" pledge going forward
