At a club/bar picking up a girl:

"Hi, my name is 'Leon' and I drive a 'Neon', let's get it 'on' "

But I bet those cars were "massaged" with lots of aftermarket goodies. The neon introduced in this thread is right out of the box. No doubt one could "build" this neon up to staggering proportions too.

Dude, that's too much!

I could visualize that happening too!

Every mobile home owner in the SouthEast will have one!

Neons have always been fast in auto-X, especially the ACR versions (available direct from the dealership). Part of the reason is that they paid contingencies for wins at certain levels. But the car is apparently well sorted for auto-X. This version presumably will be pretty hot. But I suspect you pay for what you get and thus it will likely be short on refinement, amenities, etc. Not all a bad thing.

Considering the MP3 with the new turbo has horrible torque steer and that's WITH the aftermarket goodies available as OEM handling upgrades, I'm going to assume you'll want both hands on the steering wheel when the boost comes on under hard accleration! My '84 Dodge Colt GTS-Turbo (twin stick...that was a blast) had sooooo much torque steer that it was like wrangling a steer from a stoplight. Blast to drive though! What memories.

Actually the 420a in the neons, avengers, and eclipse rs are pretty strong engines, there design suggests that they were meant to be turbo engines. Also they make a great all motor engine.
