Kit cars like that **seem** to be for people that enjoy lying or making themselves look cooler than they are. I mean, everytime someone would ask what you drove, would you say you drove a Ferrari 360, or would you go into the long and embarassing explanation as to it not being a Ferrari but really a Toyota? I have a feeling most people with that car will fib and try to impress by saying they have a Ferrari.

What if you are doing it for your own pure self-enjoyment, and fulfillment? Most people in their lifetime will never enjoy the satisfaction of owning a ferrari, and although it doesn't have the performance of a ferrari, it does have the looks, and for cosmetic purposes, I don't really find anything wrong with it.... I would also feel comfortable enough to tell them that it is a kitcar because some people don't care what others think... If it makes you happy, then do it... would I actually do it? Well it would depend on price, this looks like a pretty expensive ordeal to begin with...

I agree that most kit car fakes are lame unless they are built like the original like the fake cobra's. I want one of those in my stable one day!

There's a big difference between imitation and inspiration. I'm sure that Queen felt ripped off, not flattered, when Vanilla Ice stole one of their songs for his one hit and then denied it...
Ferrari has every right to sue the kit car mfg., as it can only diminish the value of the original.
