a lot of sellers will put down fake prices (under or over inflated) to get your attention.

yeah that's crap, unless the car does not have a motor, or that it has been in a wreck and is still wrecked, being that they're showing you the wrong picture, or as medicalstudent said.

when you inquire by sending email, the owner will probably say that he is out of the country, but has a friend in the US and will be perfectly happy shipping the car to the US through his friend, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...

25995 = 799/month * ~32 months. I think it's a Lease offer...but quoted as "total cost" rather than saying "Lease for only 799/month!"

There's an acura dealership in Indianapolis (where I live) that had two NSX's available for lease but advertised in used classifieds sort of like this, but didn't list the price as plainly as they do.

Whoever posted that ad is shooting themselves in the foot...no one stupid enough to get lured in by the offer could possibly afford the real price. They're just going to get responses from people who have no intention of paying full price.

Yep, that's just the lease cost. A local Dodge dealer is advertising cars that way also.

"Stories"

You see this alot with buying used parts, for some reason it usually has to do with a sick grandma.
