I have a 2001 F4i with only 6700 miles for sale if anyone is interested.

I too had an 02 f4i for a first bike. Very easy to ride IMO and a lot more up-right sitting position compared to my 600RR. if you have a good head on your shoulders, you will def. be fine.

my .02

it's not the size of the bike, but rather the mentality of the rider. respect the power, and learn how to properly control the bike, and you should be ok with any size motorcycles.
