Nice article.
Which begs the question: Why not get an Ariel Atom or a Lotus Exige and have the same racecar experience, but at lower speeds (? safer).
I have a lot of fun in the S2000, I can pull through a few gears and still not be violating the speed limit (hwy). If I had a Corvette, I could get to those speeds in ONE gear. Yes it's faster, but what fun is that?

What fun is it to drive a car that's not moving?

well sadly most of the people in that article make themselves sound like idiots
they're the same as 16 year old kids on the road, they don't know much about cars, they don't believe that they can hurt themselves or others, and they believe that they own the world
that is a recipe for disaster
it really just takes one half second of bad judgment to ruin your life or others. people just please take it easy on the street, have fun driving a nice car responsibly, take it out at the track (the guys in the article can obviously afford it), or take it out auto-xing at least
if someone hit me in my car doing something stupid, it would take a lot of self control not to beat the sh!t out of them if i were able to move, and I'm generally a very controlled person.
