Cars that have aged poorly
#11
I still kind of like the looks of the Z3s. The Z4 on the other hand, I've always thought it came out kind of ugly...if anything it has grown on me...not much though.

Last Gen Ford Probe GT
I loved it when I was 16 and owned one. Not fast and it was FWD but it was a 5 speed and looked "sporty"... I look at it now and feel like I still love it because it was my first car but don't think they have really aged well.

Tough challenge, it's hard to pick cars that weren't ugly from day one, but instead grew ugly over time.
Definitely the W210 Mercedes E-Class, incredible how bad those look now.
I'd say the NB Miata is in a very awkward place, shame too cause I wouldn't mind grabbing one up, but it's very hard to love.
First gen Caddy CTS looks really old and poorly made nowadays, probably aided by the fact that it is in fact old and poorly made.
Ferrari 550 - this is borderline, because let's face it, it was never that much of a looker, but having seen one the other day I was astonished at how un-special it looked. Beyond the fact that I knew what it was and the rarity, I doubt I'd even give it a second glance.
Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - this is quite a neat trick considering what a a timeless design the basic Wrangler shape is, and that I loved these when they first came out. I noticed a few over the past week that just were looking tired, as if the only changes they made to the classic shape suddenly decided to totally betray them and make the car look, dated.
7th Gen Accord - triangular headlights, nuff said. Both of the previous generations look better to my eye.
I don't mind the Z3. Strangely there is a large number of them in my neighborhood. While it's certainly not a fresh looking car, it never was. Which is to say it's lines are just classic enough to backdate it as a classic-style roadster.
