I wonder why the S2K wasn't on here. I think it would've had a much better chance than some of the cars included. I also don't think the Porsche Cayman should be losing to the 350Z.

If you've read some of the reviews on cars.com about the S2000, the author of those articles continually slams the S2000 and continuously gets reamed by readers for his opinions, so that guy probably didn't want an S2000 in the poll!

how many people decided the S2000 was the best car for them? Seems obvious to me that whatever the virtues of the S2000, there other cars that are more popular. That really shouldn't be a surprise to anybody.

Well, the Cars.com list is pretty limited to begin with, and considering the history of the S2000 on that site, I'm not surpried there's no S - there are a lot of other great cars missing from that list too.

What a crap poll. They have a bracket in the sports car section that is Mustang vs Cayman and Monte Carlo vs GTI. How is the GTI either a "luxury passenger car" or "sports car"? Then it ends up Cayman vs GTI in the 2nd round...gee, I wonder who'll win that one.
And Crown Vic vs Mini Cooper in the Passnger car section? How is the Mini, which costs around the same as the Rabbitt/GTI and is basically a very similar car, not in competition WITH the Rabbitt/GTI, and IS competiting with a Crown Vic?
This is as bad as that list from last week that listed the Chrysler Sebring sedan as a man's car. With brackets like that, I could give a shit who wins, and it's a list the S2000 doesn't belong on anyways.
