Wonder how those Pcars compare to this?
LPE C6

I think it is ridiculous that you guys are comparing the C6 to cars that cost 8X as much as the C6. Both the CGT and GT3 are obviously great cars. Here is the Corvette you can buy for 10K less than a new GT3 and 300K less than CGT. Probably a slightly better outcome for the C6. The paddle shifter on the C6 is NOT sequential, it is simply a 6sp auto with paddles.
I agree with you in that it's ridiculous to compare any Corvette to the CGT. I was merely responding to someone else's post where they inferred that a Z06 may be able to keep up with a CGT.

CGT, GT3 and C6 are all awesome cars.

The Sequential Manual / 6MT = same rwhp on a dyno, and the sequential manual will have an advantage at those speeds!

I don't know about Corvette and their system tho ?
The Vette's automatic tranny is not a sequential system such as the BMW SMG

Understandable why he got walked like that then. He didn't have the advantage of starting out at the right rpm, and automatic will dyno less ?

I wish the CGTs engine note was louder. I would rather hear the V10 than the C6s V8.

CGT traps around low 130s and the Z06 traps around 125, so yes the CGT is quite a bit faster.

not really a fair comparison.

1st - the cars aren't lined up evenly.

2nd- the CGT and the GT3 get an early start of the C6.

3rd - The 6 spd auto isn't as quick as a C6 manual.

4th - a c6z06 vs. CGT and C6 manual vs. GT3 would be a fair comparison.

Finally - I couldn't believe that the RD was going off while they were street racing.

The auto (It's NOT sequencial manual) C6 has a slushbox with torque converter. It soaks up more hp than the manua tranny. I doubt that both tranny would have the same RWHP. However in real life they could run the same # since any RWHP advantage is lost by the shift time of the manual tranny.
