Hi,
A friend of mine in grad school is considering buying this car:

Could someone do a CarFax look up for me? Thanks.
Also, how much do you think someone in grad school should spend on a car? Does $8k sound excessive (which will come to $10k after taxes, initial insurance payment etc)?
