CL or TL. Cover as much broad functionality as you can... Nice cushy luxo-sedan with room for four. All your cars don't have to be speedsters... between my wife and I we have the roadster, a "sporty" 4-dr sedan, and a bruiser off-road-able 4x4 SUV. Name the occasion and or climate and we have it covered. Having the right "tool" for the job makes all the difference!

The Toyota TC would be my vote, I know it is not on the list but that car is nice for the amount of money. Good luck!

The Tc is nice, but since it is new, you're looking at high depreciation. Buying used cuts depreciation by over half usually. For a second car, I think depreciation is a very relevant cost.
My choices:
RSX-S
Mini cooper S
Integra GSR
99-00 Si
MazdaSpeed Protege (I hear good things)
These cars are fun and have good depreciation prospects.

I'd go with the RSX-S out of the cars on that list. Might also consider the Sentra SE-R Spec V as a similar car with more doors.
EDIT: SE-R would probably come in around 12-14k for an 03. I'd stay away from the 02's they have more problems.
