Default In car Speed WC video Infineon

This is a great full length 30 min video from inside LG motorsports C6 Speed GT World Challenge race car. It is amazing to see how well Lou can shift with just the standard GM motorsports transmission and a Hurst shifter. The car sounds amazing.

I was astonished at how early this guy is apexing through some of the turns. Turns one, two, three, three A and turn eleven come to mind. The guy was apexing before he even got to the bridge just before the tires in turn one. This prevented him from going up into one with any speed at all and thus forcing himself to apex early in turn two.

I wasn't impressed at all.

Good gawd, RACER.....

This guy has won some Speedvision World Challenge championships. What are your claims to fame, Mr. Apex Man?

Also, what they teach in Autocross 101 is not necessarily what works at the higher echelons of racing.

Gigliotti results this year:
Sebring - 23rd
St Petersburg - 4th
Long Beach - 4th
Mid-Ohio - 1st
Infineon - 10th
Miller - 1st
Road America - 14th

He's currently second in the championship as well.

I'd say he's a pretty good driver.
