Haha, I guess you are asking on the wrong forum. Neither of those are cars are particularly known to be fun to drive. (v8 mustang is another story)

My vote goes to a Ford Thunderbird
Had one for a winter beater.. Extremely cheap and extremely reliable. Never got stuck in the snow and never died on me. All for $900!

A friend of mine has the v6 Eclipse, a 2001. Other than more torque, there isn't anything redeeming about it. It has long, heavy doors, the seats aren't that comfortable and he has had the best of luck of things working. That said, I still think the v6 Mustang is about the same as the Eclipse. Neither one is that great.
