Obviously that list doesn't reflect the tastes of most Americans. I wouldn't put the Citroen DS (or any Citroen for that matter) in my top 100 let alone the top 5. But I do agree with some of the choices made, the Enzo, 300SL, and DB5 are very cool cars.

What makes a "cool car" is always up for reexamination, as everyone defines it differently.
I think the choice of the 62 Riviera was a very good, one, while the Morris woody at number 100 was a not-so-cool choice. I don't know that I'd pick any of the trucks they picked unless it was a 100 Most Blingin' Rides Ever list.
They did name some true exotic classics though. The DB5 is utterly timeless, as is the Miura and the Ferrari Daytona. Throw the original Sting Ray Vette in there for good measure.

my only complaint is no Supra, I know it has plain-jane looks in some people's opinions, but that thing is soooo over engineered... I guess the fact that the aftermarket makes that car so great, isn't taken to the ballot box...
I totally agree with the VW Bus, Mini Cooper S (60's), and Land Rover Defender...
but not putting the Range Rover that High on the list.

P.S. - Why is there so much hate for the TT on this board? A car that went from concept to production virtually unaltered, a car that when first introduced turned more heads than a 911, a car with one of the best looking/feeling interiors in the business hands down. Maybe I am a little biased, but I personally think it's a "cool" car. Hell, I think my new TSX is pretty cool, but it in now way deserves to be on that list...
