Hes trading in a g37 w IPL mods lol... now he's leaning more towards the nismo 370z. His end goal is a 911 someday but we don't make big skrill yet idk why but the newer M3 hasn't registered e him. I'll ask

From what I can find it looks like the RS4 and GT 5.0 weight about the same. The GT may even weigh a little less. It seems like the GT would be a better "sports car" compared to the RS4.

I didn't totally get it from the original message, is this car a daily driver? Will it ever see snow? The Audi is the more practical choice for these cases. Weekend toy, pick the 370z.

why is he not considering a E90 M3 if a RS4 is in the picture?
you will have to shell out some serious cash for a RS4 in good shape and or get it maintained to par. I love the RS4 looks. if they didn't cost so much to a maintain, I'd have a 2002 S4 Avant for a DD.

B5 s4 is full of problems however b7 rs4 is actually rock solid other than carbon build up. I have not heard of any major problems with b7 rs4.

true, Audis in general are just really expensive to maintain, especially if you don't do your own work. Not an issue in my case but part costs are still ridiculous.
