Default Car and Driver, Sept. 2003, "FOURGASM!" Four cylinder Tuner Shootout..

This thread is to discuss this issue, not to flame Car and Driver or any other mags. Thank you

The Yellow Comptech S2000 is on the Front Cover!!! At the near end of it's life, S2000s are showing up EVERYWHERE on magazines.. woohoo!!

I guess it's not on C&D's website yet.. I just got the magazine in the mail. I could take scans of it but that copyright infringment law prohibits me too :-/

Sounds like Comptech needed to contact King about tuning the suspension. Only 0.9 ahead of the top RSX and a second behind the EVO and Suby on the road course despite superior braking and in gear acceleration. Oh well, at least it still came in first

I got the magazine today. They have the Comptech SC on it, but it now has the IC on it. It looks very similar to the Vortech unit except it is a gray box between the SC & intake. I wonder how much the unit will be now with the IC upgrade

This would be the yellow hardtop that I saw at their facility when I was getting the blower installed.

Correct, it has the first prototype aftercooler.

Nice car, the guy who owns it posted about it here a while ago.
