can u set a 'polish' to a nonpolished lip?
If a set of wheels came without a 'polished lip', is it possible through painting/powdercoating/anodizing methods to put a polish on the lip??
thanks!

Having recently restored a couple of corroded aluminum motorcycle rims myself I can confidently say -- take it to a pro! It was a huge pain in the rear, took many hours -- three grades of sandpaper, emery compound on polishing wheel, Mother's Powerball and their metal polish for final shine, carnuba wax to maintain ("clear coat" would be better, POR makes a good one). I had to grind-and-polish around and over a bunch of spoke nipples and the curved part of the wheel. A car wheel lip should be easier.
Make sure you mask any nearby powdercoat to avoid damage.
