Window tint is just a thin film. I'm sure it could be peeled off, but if you're not sure about doing it, it's better to have a pro do it.

You can take it off but you will have to clean the "glue" off pretty much, which will take some time. If you don't mind the work then it's no problem.

I had to do this to my Accord when I got hit with the fix-it ticket.

Depending on the quality of the film that's on the window right now, you'll have varying success in peeling off the film. If you got high quality titanium film, then it will be really strong, and peel off in one big piece. Other wise it might come off like a bad sticker.

What I did for mine was to segment the window into 5 sections horizontally across. I would then peel about 6 inces of film straight down at a time. It's a lot easyer than trying to peel the whole thing at once since you would have to apply about 5 times the pressure.

After that, it's the ugly glue. I got mine off with "Simple Green", which actually breaks down the glue, so it wasn't as bad, but it still took a bit of work. You should be able to use goof-off or any other adheasive remover.

It's not technically difficult, just physically.

The trick is to place a black garbage bag over the window and leave your car with the bag on the window out in the sun all day. The tint will come right off with the glue.

Good luck.

Maybe try a heatgun or hairdryer to warm it up first.
