So some of you guys might know that philippines got hit a big typhoons and cause some big flood. well our place got hit and 4 of my dad's car where under water (3 of them are honda). now he is emailing me and asking if I could buy this part for him.

I believe its connected between steering column but i could not find it on hondaautomotiveparts.com. can any help me out?

Looks like the electric motor for the steering rack to me.....

If you know the year and model of Honda you could use Majestic Honda's exploded drawings to identify the parts.

CRV doesn't have an electric motor and he said he couldn't find it on Majestic Honda.

I don't know hpw the CR-V is supposed or not supposed to come equipped, but that is clearly an electrical device of some sort attached to the steering rack.

I'm going to use my incredible science brain and conclude that this CR-V has electrically assisted power steering.
