The entire lineup of A'PEXi is rather quiet. Spoon also makes a quiet cat-back setup, as does HKS and JUN.

Why is he asking about "aftermarket exhause"? Why not consider the OEM replacement exhaust from Honda? If your friend is comfortable with the stock sound level, then a stock exhaust would give him exactly what he wanted. What am I missing?

Maybe your friend is really after something else... Maybe what he meant to ask is "aftermarket exhaust that is not louder than stock, but also won't rust out as quickly"? Or maybe "aftermarket exhaust that is not louder than stock, but costs less money"? Or even "aftermarket exhause that is not louder than stock, but looks better"? And finally, maybe "aftermarket exhause that is not louder than stock, but gives better performance (horsepower, torque, gas mileage...)"?

The Apexi WS series is supposed to be their cheapest and provide power gains without looking and sounding ricey. If all he wants is a quiet exhaust, why not just go to a muffler shop and have them make him one?
