Can a 11th or 12th grader in your opinion come up with $80,000 cash to mod a car?
Please exclude the following.
Inheritance
Rich parents
Drugs
Movie star
Athlete
Prostitution/Pimp
Selling weapons
Robbing a bank
Money for a terrorist act
I just talked with some co-workers and they told me to add: See above
How else could someone 16 or 17 years old with no college education and still in HS come up with $80,000 to mod a car
I just want opinions and guesses.
Thanks.

It's possible. I have a friend who bought a house for cash as soon as he graduated high school. He did a lot of the computer graphics/titles/programming for the national Irish TV stations, and made a lot of money.

i know there are some smart ass computer genius kids who play online poker under their older siblings name. its highly unlikely that these kids would buy an S2000 with $40,000 worth of mods instead ing buying a porsche, $80k is simply nothing to these kids. Its a whole different world out there for them

As I said, he did not pay for his S. It was a gift to him. I also don't think that he has 80K in mods on the car. I dont know if you're referring to a 35k car with 45k worth of mods or whether you mean 80k worth of mods. I dont think that any S has 80k in mods. Ive been proven wrong once before though. Just messin. It's possible that he doesn't pay for his mods, but I do know that he has a couple of jobs and he works hard. Ill ask him more tonight. Unfortunately for me, I dont have any of those items listed above. Used to sell drugs, but I was doing them too, so I wasnt making money. "Never get high on your own supply!" Anyways, I work hard to pay for my car myself and ALL the mods for it. Well somewhat. Lately I have been getting a few sponsors. And I was thinking...people often say that people dont deserve cars when their parents buy them for them. Well, whats the difference between someones parents paying for mods and getting sponsorships? Just curious. Dont keel me!
