The Vette's interior actually has good material quality. Having sat in one for a bit my take is good/great materials and material finish (especially the doors), good ergonomics, decent fit, OK styling. Really what kills the styling is the center console. It's just plane looking. The doors really are nice feeling and look good too.
I have a buddy who thinks all american cars are junk. He loves his 2002 BMW 530. While I'm not in love with his car, the fit and finish are excellent. He was impressed with the Vette's interior. "It's like its not an American car."

I hope few people like the new Z06 because that means I won't have as hard of a time getting a good deal on one in a few years.
The M3 is an overpriced, overweight, underpowered slug compared to the Z06 and they shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath.

Well, maybe not everyone cross shops a Z06 versus an M3. But I did. I'm no domestic snob. I wouldn't mind driving the M3 and even the older models were the very definition of "more than the sum of its parts."
But when it came time to pull the trigger I realized how down I'd feel every single time I pulled up to a Z06 on the road. Like I'd have to slink by. Not to mention I'd have had to pay more for a new M3 at the time...

I really love my S2000. That said, you can't deny the performance and entire package of the ZO6 is awesome for $66k. You have to get into supercar territory to even approach the performance. I owned a C5 for a couple of years and it was a good car. The fiberglass body is great because you don't have to worry about dings or rust. They also use very good paint because of the fiberglass. It fely heavy by S2000 standards but supposedly the new C6 has improved immensely. I'd have to drive one before passing judgement.
