That 20K is for the Mugen version, which listed for a lot more. Not to say it was worth the list price.

Wow, I love my regular mazda3 and s2k for daily duties. If you are getting rid of an s2k, you should have enough to step to a tl or tsx ???
not to say the si isn't nice, sorry to be "that guy"

Keep looking, I remember seeing SIs around here for 14K clean title with a little bit more miles, but still like new.
And a full interior strip can easily total a vehicle, keep in mind that an adjuster uses a estimating software, so replacing a seat goes like this:
frame, base, rails, headrest, cover, cushion, lower cover, etc etc, for each seat.
If the mugen version was a solid deal, I'd say why not, but 20K? Pfft, you could get a brand new SI for that with a minimal haggling.

No, it wasn't. Look at the post above mine. It's crazy to even ASK that much, though I agree there's no way it's worth that.

I'd be fine with a tsx as well if I can find something in my price range (under 20k for a newer car with under 15k/yr mileage).

6 speed previous gen Acural TL? 04-08... I love those TL's, and the Type S version is awesome. They have good torque and get decent mileage too. A TSX is basically a 4 door RSX Type S if that's your thing, you gotta get it in stick though... the autos are shit.
I'd keep looking. Civic Si sedan is alright, but I'd much rather have a TL 6 speed/Type S. They're really classy, nice ride, and plenty of power and fun for a sedan of its size. Only thing that sucks is the J series is expensive to mod, far more than the F.
