I don't know if the guy can get out of the ticket. So he was going 150mph instead of 205mph. You are still going to get fined. The cop was just a moron.

Actually, if he has a good (really good) lawyer, he should be able to get out of the ticket completely.
If he can prove that there was absolutely no way that his bike could reach the ticketed speed of 205 MPH (which given the basically stock setup of the bike should be relatively easy to prove), then a good lawyer will argue that the officer's method of determining the speed was flawed/inaccurate. If the officer's method used to determine the speed of the rider/bike was inaccurate/flawed, then it can not be relied upon during the trial.
No determination of speed, no case. No case, no violation.
However, since this is a high profile incident and since other violations may have been cited at the time (i.e., careless driving, etc.), the rider may still face other charges.
My guess, a plea bargain of some sort. . .

unless that dude somehow get hold of an RC211V,
if he got the tickets, probably insurance will drop him.
my friend rolled over his STi on race track, and then he told his insurance that he rolled over on the street, the insurance actually bought his story. He had 2 tickets, and his insurance decided to drop him for next year. ( this is exactly why I drive slow on public road unless I am ABSOLUTELY sure there are no cops and the conidtion is safe).
for the dude doing 205mph without a licence, his insurance will more than likely drop him.
