Budget of $120k, what car would you get?

Personally, if I didn't need a daily driver and had a fun car (like the s2000) and wanted something sporty and unique I would get a restomod or some kind. Unique old school looks with the running gear, interior of a new car. Depreciation wouldn't be an issue and those cars can still handle and fly since they are using modern running gear.

worse than old zr1? The interior is miles better than the zr1 and imo it looks much better and much more exotic. It's only not as fast, woopity doo. He's clearly not in it for speed considering am vantage and 360cs. The scuderia goes for 160-180k and challenge stadale go for 120-160k. Watch a new gtboard video of the scuderia raping a jag xkr rs. Both have 500+hp but the scud rapes it.

If I had 120k, I'd be looking at a BMW Z8, Ford GT or 512TR.

Noble would be very unique but reliability is shotty. On Top Gear UK, Richard Hammond drove one on their cross country trips (Jeremy Clarkson had Aventador, and James May had McLaren 12C), and Hammonds Noble broke down

And the new viper is still worse than the old zr1

As shown at 114k, 2013 Corvette ZR1. Maybe I am missing something here? Maybe I misinterpreted and you meant that the "old ZR1's are cheaper now because they don't make them anymore."
Either way, from a performance only standpoint the ZR1 is hard to beat. However, it does not have the exotic prestige that a lot of the other cars in this thread carry. It's easy for me to sit here and say I would buy the ZR1 if I had the money to spare. However, considering I chose an S2000 over a C5 Z06 kind of makes me think I would go a different direction when it came down to it. Either way, your problem is a good one to have, haha.
