I tend to like small cars so the Vantage size is prefect for me. The V8 can be made as fast as the V12, but during normal driving the torque difference is still there. There's a V12 S version coming out with some upgrades along with a clutchless manual.

I've always only "sorta" liked the Caymans but the new one is really wowing me. It doesn't have as awkward of a drop off in the rear and now looks really sleek. I actually like itsdesign over the 991 aesthetically.

In the end, I'd still be happy with just a plain V8 Vantage... in white though which is incredibly hard to find on the west coast.

I would go for a v10 R8.. they have been holding their value very well which is a plus in the long run.

Maybe a f430 challenge if you can find one cheap enough?
I saw a really nice 360 challenge on ebay for 80k.

The aston isnt a bad idea either, although that is more of a GT imo.

Excellent choice on your Cayman S. That PDK peaks my interest. I hear those shifts are crisp. Though, I like to row my own boat as well. There something more gratifying about having that stick over pulling on a paddle.

I spent most of my teenage years locked in my room doing just that.

quick update, thought this thread is dead!

i cancelled my Cayman S order...had second thoughts.. too "common" for me lol!

Now i'm looking at a Maserati GranTurismo MC. heard a youtube video of the exhaust and it sounded sick, and love the looks...

Found one with warrenty still left until 2016 and up to 50,000 miles from factory, and in process of negotiating price looks super clean

Yeah, love the MC agreesive looks and new sport exhaust. In Europe it's called MC Stradale, here in the states, called MC Sportline...like Stradale better. anyways, only major difference from USA and European is USA has rear seats (good for my little kiddos) and regulation sport seats.

In discussion currently with Maserati dealer...they have a yellow one for sale (yeah, i'm stuck on yellow!) and it will be my new DD, and will replace my S2000
