Boxster vs S2000 straight up
#111
I guess if we are talking about comparing new models that we have a debate between the base boxster and the s2k. since the new Boxster S has a little more power than before, it should distance itself from the S2K. No argument there. I think some people may question whether it is $20 or $30 thousand dollars better though. I haven't driven one so I cant say. Here is a recent test of Boxster S

Check out the road&track tests also...Boxster S wins second place amongst BEST SPORTS CAR under $100k to the C6.
But actually, 5/8 of the writers picked the Boxster S as their top car. S2K was somewhere in the middle, but it was also the cheapest of the bunch.
Can't go wrong with the superior over-all performance of the Boxster S....even the 280hp, 3.2l version. You don't even need the '07 295hp 3.4l version
