Aren't the EU VWs made in Wolfsburg? Are the US models made in Mexico or Brazil? I can't remember.

[QUOTE=NuncoStr8,Nov 12 2009, 01:41 AM]Whenever people start talking about "reliability ratings," I find it's useful to ask who wants a Ferrari.

Passat, GTi, GLi, CC and Tiguan are made in Germany, and the EOS is made in Portugal. The Touareg is made in Bratislava, Slovakia.

By Decoding the car’s production codes I can see that all VAG cars that is currently with us are made in Germany (I have to check the Cayenne too). Also I remember that my old VR5 Jetta (called Bora here) was made in Wolfsburg factory and the Audi A4 built in Germany, but I don’t remember the factory name.

As I know, some lower spec. VW cars that is brought here are made in Spain or some else in Europe. But I think this is not applicable to Audi. Skoda and Seat cars are not manufactured in Germany for sure.

I have read somewhere that US VW’s don’t have good plastic parts while I can’t see this in my previous Jetta and A4. They were very good specially the Audi.
