Don't mod. Audi is really annoying about mods. Also stasis is out of business last I heard

In reality, I don't know if I'll really mod this car. I learned having a tuned C6 that fast cars are not that much fun on daily drives. Much more fun to have a quick car and beat on it all day than a fast car and have to dive it like a grandpa all the time...
The S4 seems like an almost perfect balance for a fun sporty daily, maybe even a bit too fast as it is.

We'll see though, with monster power an easy tune and pulley away it's sometimes hard not to be tempted.

I know right, especially on a pricey car with pricey parts and service...

I agree with that. I love my 330i zhp daily beater, it's got enough power to get out of it's own way but not enough to get me arrested all the time.

I'm tentatively looking at a used 2010+ S4 as a DD. I think I can find a clean 6spd with ~50k miles for $25k. Not bad considering they are $50k+ new with any options at all. I can take it up to NM and CO skiing which doesn't seem like much but I go 3 times a year and am always struggling to find an AWD car to take. I won't buy it if it understeers outside of at the limits which is acceptable and irrelevent. Gas mileage on the highway is quite good.

A german car with over 50k miles is a risk. You might be getting something that major things start breaking on and that $25k can turn into $35k fast.

Picked it up on Sunday, here are some quick pics.

I'll write up a short review once I've had it for a little while.
