We only had that car for about 2 years, and traded it towards our current 991.2 (with Sport Chrono), so I never did pull the trigger.
Car looks great though - enjoy!

Yeah, the 997.2 we used to own didn't have the Sport Chrono option either. Surprising that everyone didn't spec that option, it's really helpful with a PDK. One thing I briefly entertained was adding it after the fact. Suncoast has it, but it's $1250 for a PDK, plus 2-3 hours of dealer time to install and activate. https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/9X7SM.html Sounds like you're well down that path already!

Congratulations!! Happy for you!!
I sort of went full circle in a way and like you owned several cars in between that just didn’t fit for one reason or another. In 2002 I purchased a S2000 new, kept is until it just wasn’t getting used much due to our newly added little ones. Sold it in 2009 and missed it every day since. About five year ago, I was fortunate enough to located a low mileage 2010 997.2 4S and absolutely love it, I think it is the best all around car I have owned - will never part with it. It is also a PDK with Sport Chrono and lots of other goodies. It’s a blast to drive, but I still missed my S2000. Well, about 2 weeks ago, I jumped back in and located a 2003 Spa Yellow. For me, the combination of the 997.2 and the S2000 is perfect. Enjoy! They both have tons of character and are a blast to drive in their own unique way.
