Soon enough, if not already, that yellow tread line on your tire will be gone

Congrats on the bike purchase. I ride an 04 R1. Riding is a blast just remember to keep it real until you have a couple thousand miles under your belt. You will probably want an exhaust fairly soon. Will sound better, be more fun to ride, and noise is actually safer.
As far as selling your S2k, Are you crazy. While my bike is fun, and definitely makes my S2k look slow, there is no way I would give up the S2K. Riding a passenger on a sportbike pretty much suks. I took off my passenger pegs right away. Who cares about the chick magnet thing, The bike is your instant adrenaline rush. Your S2K is probably a much better chick magnet, if your not scoring with your S2k, you wont score with the R6 for sure. I love my bike, but there are times I rather cruise top down with a passenger and some tunes on.
Anyway, have fun and break in your bike before raping it. Yamaha's sound awesome with a Two Brothers Racing pipe. Nice deep tones. Good Luck
