very nice. i wish porsche would give that kind of discount for the cayman S since i don't think that car is selling that well either.
Porsche also has trouble with the Cayman S... it also is selling significantly below MSRP... but that was coming since they intentionally priced it higher than the Boxster S to start out with...

Congrats!
I agree 100% with your comparision with the Z3 M Coupe.
I have a 2001 M Coupe and test drove a Z4 M 2 weeks ago.
-steering does feel tighter, heavier and more responsive on the M Z4. In terms of transmitting road feel, I believe the Z3 M is better.
-brakes are completely insane on the Z4 M, even better than the already great brakes on the Z3 M
-Transmission is 100000 times better on the Z4 M than on the Z3 M. Smoother, shorter throws, more positive ''click click'' engagement, less rubbery feel, etc...
-Z4 M seems to pull more than the Z3 M even though it weighs about 150 pounds more and only has 15 more HP. Could this be due to gearing-lower final drive ratio?

I actually talked to my dealer about the 135i and whether it would be worth it to wait. Price should be about $35K for base. With all the options which the dealer are going to throw on, expect to be over $40. My dealer will also be marking them up until the demand slows. So mid $40s or higher is not unexpected.

[QUOTE=Choungsgay,Oct 20 2007, 06:54 PM] I can understand the mark-up but $35k for a base 135 is only $3000 less than a 335i...thats way to close to the price of a 3 series.

new and old "shoe car" in the garage. that's awesome.
if i was in the marketing for a new car, i'd definitely get the z4 m coupe with the clearance discount.
