BMW Z4M Coupes and Roadsters
I just traded the M3 for a Z4m Coupe. The Z4M are not selling well so BMW is trying to clear them out before the 135i arrives. I got the best deal I think I will ever get on a M.
BMW was offering $7500 in trunk money but cars are selling for like $10-$13K below sticker. I got mine for even less than that.
Plus the took the M3 lease 2 months early, did not make me pay the 3000miles excess mileage cost, or the cosmetic damage that the car had. I'm sure they will make money selling my trade (2005 Yellow M3), which really made the deal for both us but I don't really care
So if you want a MCoupe you can get a new one for low to mid forties out the door.
Here is my Z4M. Notice I still have a Z3M too.

Excellent car! The should be selling for less.. the asking price of them was crazy... atleast around here. Mid 50s to 60K for that car is REDICULOUS and jsut isn't worth it. Now.. if I had the money I would be ruunning out to get one today!

Hey, congratulations on your new M coupe. I also read your post on bimmerforums and it sounds like you got a fantastic deal.
Anyway, can you provide some input as to how it drives compared to your Z3 M coupe and perhaps the S2000?
I never thought I could afford one but if I can find a dealer who is willing to sell for $42k out the door (I don't care if it doesn't have a single option, although I would love the Premium Package, if only for the cruise control!), I think I can pull it off. Any advice on how to haggle?
I really appreciate it.

I don't think you have to haggle much. Find a dealer that has a Z4M sitting on their lot and go make a deal. If they really want to get rid of it, they'll make you a deal.
I think the ironic thing is that once BMW stops making the Z4M new, it will become a cult car like the Z3M (esp. with the S54) has, and prices will stabilize in the used market quickly. But, until then, getting one new is a heck of a deal in the mid-$40K range.
