[QUOTE=Chris S,May 15 2007, 01:36 AM] I was a totally content S2000 owner w/ some free time on my hands, so I took a Cayman S for a "tire kicking" test drive...a very expensive one!
My wife and I both fell head over heals for it, and I became obsessed enough to throw fiscal restraint out the window.

My vote is to go for the Boxster S. If you do, let's see some pics!

M coupe has a more sculpted unique body. Porsche is an awsome car, but very recognizable body. The M cars are my favorite; lots of power great handling, and very reliable. I have a 95 M3 and will never part with it!

Personally, I'd say go for a Cayman S.
I got to sit in one at a track event, and dear god was it nice! The level of luxury in it is amazing.
Also, RWD + Mid engine = WIN!
Sure, it'll have less HP than the upcoming M, but I'd bet good money that it'll still be faster through the twisties, and everyone knows that's where all the fun is at!
