Haha, yeah, that's pretty brutal! An X5 is reasonably competent offroad in mild conditions, that was some bad action no matter what you're driving. The Honda posted above would've been floating out to sea too

We have cocina around here which compresses way down and you'll lose like 2 feet of clearance - you bottom out, you're done.

No low range, no diff lock, not a real offroad vehicle
