Is BMW styling bad enough to keep you from buying?

I don't like BMW's new styling direction.
I don't like it enough to say that I'm disappointed and frankly disenchanted. I grew up a BMW fanatic. I loved the original M3 when others said it was boy racer ugly. I thought the 6 was simply gorgeous and the 8 was an unappreciated beauty.
Today, I find myself finally in a financial position where I can comfortably afford most of BMW's products and frankly, I'm not interested.
Too bad, IMO.
